School Performance

EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE "GOOD LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT" 2016
In 2016 82% of our children achieved a "good level of development" which is an increase of 12% from 2015 and a 25% increase from 2014. It is above national. (69%)

80% of our pupils met the required standard at the end of Year 1 which was an increase of 17% from 2015 and 21% from 2014.

KEY STAGE 2 TEST RESULTS 2016
This is the first time the pupils sat the new KS2 Government tests which have been "assessed without levels". Due to the new tests structure it is not possible to compare our results from 2015 to those of 2016. However, needless to say the children have worked extremely hard under the guidance of their teachers.

The school's most recent unvalidated Key Stage 2 results which will be published by the Secretary of State on the Department for Education's website are as follows:

Reading, Writing and Mathematics 51% achieved the expected standard (National 53%)

The progress of our pupils is now judged on "average scaled score per pupil". The progress of our pupils is also based on their attainment at KS1 and the progress they have made compared to other pupils nationally. This is different to previous years where pupils were expected to make "two levels of progress" from KS1 to KS2.

Progress Measures KS1-KS2

Writing> Progress Score: (confidence level in brackets) -3.6 (-0.1 to 3.3)

The average Scaled Score per pupil is:
Reading 100 (National 103)
