Academy Consultation

on Friday, 16 October 2015.

Following a meeting and vote by the Local Governing Body, it has been decided to begin a process of consultation with you to consider the conversion of the school into an Academy with Transform Trust. An Academy is a publicly-funded all-ability local school which is independent from Local Authority control. Transform Trust is an East Midlands based Multi Academy Trust whose CEO is Rebecca Meredith, our Executive Headteacher. Transform also run the Teaching School we have been a founder member of for the last 3 years.

In order to allow staff to meet with the Chair and other members of the LGB and to participate in the formal consultation on Academy status we have arranged a meeting for all colleagues at the school on Thursday 3rd December 2015 at 3.30pm in the school hall.  Please do attend if at all possible.

We look forward to seeing you on the 3rd December, when we will be able to give you much greater detail and answer your questions.  In the meantime if you have any urgent questions please address them to the Chair and write or email the school on This email address is being protected from spambots.
